On September 3, 2018, the CPC Central Committee of the Heavy Industry Party chose this day to be the party building activity day of this branch. On August 13, 1951, the Administrative Office of the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China issued a notice signed by Premier Zhou Enlai to confirm the anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War on September 3. The notice pointed out that in the unified national annual festival and commemorative day holiday announced on December 23, 1949, August 15 was the victory day of the Anti-Japanese War. Japan’s surrender was imposed after the Japanese government signed the surrender treaty on September 2, 1945. Therefore, the anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War should be changed to September 3.

In 1999, the State Council’s Order No. 270, “National Festival and Memorial Day Holidays” (issued by the Government Council on December 23, 1949, and revised by the State Council on September 18, 1999) "July 7" Memorial Day, "September 9" Victory Day of the Anti-Japanese War, "September 18" Memorial Day. This is the Chinese government's statute of anti-Japanese war in the form of regulations.

In the afternoon, all party members and party activists visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery in Heyuan City and presented flowers baskets to the martyrs in front of the Martyrs Memorial Tower.

Under the guidance and detailed explanation of the commentator, the colleagues listened carefully, watched, understood and learned the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs. Being heroic and unyielding, the martyrs were deeply moved by the great spirit of bloody battles for the liberation cause of the entire Chinese people.

In an interview, Yi said that visiting the Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall in this special commemorative festival today has a special significance. It is the revolutionary martyrs that they used their blood and life to exchange our happiness today. A Communist Party member, or a party activist, must inherit the legacy of the martyrs, by not forgetting the initial heart and remembering the mission. We should work hard, build our country to develop our business by doing our own work and make contribution to our society.
